I’m a freelance writer and copy editor. About 6 months ago, I started searching for jobs. I have 2 degrees and experience working as a writer, editor, and researcher. Somehow, I found it impossible to find a job! I thought to myself, “what would I do next?”

Well, I started to write on LinkedIn, Substack, Gumroad, Medium, and Writer’s Work. I choose these platforms to increase the opportunities I receive. In addition, I wanted to increase my search engine optimization (SEO) along the way. To brand myself professionally, I create an “LLC” to build credibility and authority.

Deep down, I still wanted a corporate job. However, you can’t sit on your hands waiting for someone else to validate your potential. Therefore, I decided to challenge myself as a freelance writer. I’ve made the decision to implement a 31-Day plan to see how much traffic, engagement, and opportunities I could get as a writer. Starting December 1st to January 1st, I will be writing 5 pieces of written content a day. These forms of written content will be repurposed from a eBook. This eBook will be available on December 1, 2022.
