“THE GUIDE TO MICRO CONTENT”
Are you interested in using micro content to build your brand or business?
The way you structure your content has to reflect your brand voice. You want to let your audience see why they’re investing in your products and services. It’s important to avoid sales language. Use language that provokes emotion and calls your audience to take action. To do this, you will have to become a student of your craft.
I’ve studied some of the greatest ways to incorporate micro content as a copywriter of color for more than a decade. I adapt my words to fit the tone and structure of any room when I write or speak. I became a student of words and gained degrees or certificates in the following fields of study:
- Social Sciences (AA)
- English (BA)
- Public and Professional Writing (Professional Certificate)
Now, I’m studying Writing, Rhetoric, and Technical Communication to obtain a graduate degree. This will help me own my brand voice because it’s always evolving. It’s important to be a life-long learner! It helps you adapt, thrive, and strive for excellence as times change. This is why micro content can help you excel in 2021! If you implement micro content strategies then you will develop a clear, direct, brand message.
Our world is full of people with short attention spans. If you build a business that enables you to capitalize on short attention spans then you will continue to make progress. We all want be successful but to achieve our dreams and goals that we have in mind, progress is essential. Your accomplishments start with taking the first step.
How do you utilize your first step with micro content?
Well, it’s simple but many of us overthink our first step without speaking our first words. Think about curating a bold, clear, and direct statement that makes your audience wonder, “what next?” The right micro content will allow your audience to go on a journey with you. Your ideal client or customer will envision each word you write, speak, or think. State your mission, intent, and vision then give a call to action. Everything starts in the mind. Keep a mental record of some small ideas that can lead to big moves! By creating a micro path unlike any other with your words, you are giving your ideal client or customer the power to decide in their own time. This shift in power stems from you listening, being attentive, and understanding pain points. Your job isn’t to oversell your product or service. Just add value by using less words for more impact.
During this pandemic, we’ve seen unthinkable narratives shape up in our communities. People don’t feel safe because of the alarming health concerns. When you craft a story that makes your community feel at home as soon as they visit your website or social media page then you will have the attention of the people that matter in your community. Micro content is all about building relationships and owning your brand voice.
Do people understand your brand voice?
As entrepreneurs in a modern world that continues to evolve, we will see who’s meant to last and who will fold under pressure. Take these last few days in 2020, take the time to own your craft and brand voice with a constant presence. No matter how you create micro content, let it reflect your 2021 brand vision. Let your impact create small windows of time that are phenomenal at the foundation. When your ideal client or customer hears about your brand, their intent will be to invest because you created micro content that commanded attention.
Don’t miss out!
