A well-executed cover letter on social media will show potential clients how your qualifications match the pain-points of your ideal client or community. We aren’t seeking to obtain the attention of employers. We are seeking to gain the attention of our community. Then, we are looking to cultivate their attention into respect, trust, and loyalty. How do you develop a modern-day cover letter?

I’m always looking for a new challenge. I found opportunities as a freelance writer by developing a unique writing portfolio. Now, I’m posting content daily through all social media platforms as a collective “cover letter” that is my portfolio. My online presence is intentional as a freelance writer. I’m not there to entertain my community. My content is meant to educate, inform, impact, or report immediately as a modern-day cover letter. To see who might be interested in acquiring my services, I post consistently meaning daily. I used to seek out my ideal clients. Now, I’m interested in creating the right space that welcomes my ideal client when the time comes.
