Next, I start to post unique captions on Instagram that are intentional with my message. Then, my message on Instagram transitions to this platform, Medium and then LinkedIn. My modern-day cover has evolved into communication channels where people can access my content. If they’re interested in acquiring my services, they can do so at any time. Now, I’m posting content daily through all social media platforms as a collective “cover letter” that is my portfolio. My online presence is intentional as a freelance writer. I’m not there to entertain my community. My content is meant to educate, inform, impact, or report immediately as a modern-day cover letter. To see who might be interested in acquiring my services, I post consistently meaning daily. I used to seek out my ideal clients. Now, I’m interested in creating the right space that welcomes my ideal client when the time comes. It’s a unique strategy with a creative structure that I love because of the flexible hours, competitive pay scale, interesting work environments, and personal benefits.
