“Drafts For Progress”
Have you ever encountered writer’s block when attempting to write a essay, email, or article? It’s a common challenge writers face during their writing process. As a copywriter, I use a few methods to control my space and words that I write. When I start, I use outlines and brainstorming methods that might sound counterproductive but they’re very effective. I’ve been able to write multiple eBooks with these methods within my writing process. I want to share a few tips that helped me develop drafts for progress to complete my eBook or copy.
As I start with an idea, I’m often searching for motivation. I’m looking for a place or feeling that ignites a fire within me. My copy isn’t about me as a copywriter. I’m writing to intrigue my writer and make them invest in my vision. My goal is to hook them in as a brand advocate. My draft has to build a relationship for the investment. Only then can I know I’m making progress within my draft. We often say, “let’s get 1% better each day!” I agree with this quote. Now, how does this translate in a writing process? How will you create a writing process and embrace your progress? All progress looks different. Still, if you can conquer your fear of words and be discipline enough to focus, your ideas will flow into words.
Take your words and tell a story of progress. When you write about progress, you are creating a journey for your reader to go on with you. Words are powerful! Use them to peak the interest of your reader and have them follow each step you take. A writer must develop drafts for progress because they have to start before they finish. A start is the hardest thing to do when you are distracted or unfocused. Get unstuck and write in your own realm of progress today!
