“BUILD WITH WORDS!”

Have you ever stopped to think about the future words that will represent your brand or business? The future of your brand or business needs to have credible words that provoke emotion and present a call to action. You must build rapport, trust, and credibility now more than ever during this time of uncertain and chaotic times. You must create a unique elevator pitch that has your ideal client or customer on the edge of their seats. More importantly, It’s time to turn the pitch into passive streams of income with your words. How do we do that? Realize that your words will make you wealthy, not rich. When you gather the right words, you can create the right perspective. Your life will change.

I’m reading a phenomenal book entitled, “microDOMINATION” by Trevor Young. He talks about “creating a mini-enterprise.” Right now, this concept makes a lot of sense to me. My brand focuses on obtaining and converting attention while using less words for more impact. A lot of entrepreneurs are attempting to run before they walk. Our generation wants to sell before they pitch their idea. I often see products or services created with an idea then they head straight into the market. While trial and error is a solid tactic, research is a strategy. I made the mistake of entering the market too fast. Now, I’ve learned from my mistakes. You must take the first step in your journey by articulating your brand or business with the right elevator pitch.

Our economy is in a state of rebuilding and restoring peace as a nation. We are amid a pandemic with social/police injustice that will confuse your mind. Feed your brand vision with the right words internally. Add context to your life with less words for more impact. Reassure your community with a powerful message from time to time. Your words can impact a nation. The only way to impact is to start with that powerful thought. You can’t elaborate on that thought if you don’t start with micro steps and processes for your “mini enterprise.”

When you create the process, trust the process. The two concepts are like yin and yang. When you create, you enable trust to compliment the process if you respect the journey. You will learn a lot about building your “mini-enterprise” when you build with words. While this is my perspective from Young’s book, I’ve been developing my own Micro Content Strategist brand since May 2020.

In May 2020, my world took a turn for the better when I rebranded my image. I knew that I could flourish with the right strategy and structure. I acquired the skills of a brand team. Most black creators want to build or expand without a team fail. Furthermore, if you develop a cause or passion without having a mission then it will be hard to find the right words to say. If you want to build an enterprise without a team, be prepared to face more adversity than you expected. The goal is to work smarter not harder in our generation where technology is changing how we think. Powerful words enable you to create a “mini enterprise” while focusing on the big picture. This requires discipline, commitment, and application. Once you put these 3 words in to play, your business will change.

It’s like climbing a ladder. Each step takes you higher. Still, your focus is what takes you to the top as an entrepreneur. Now, there has been a tremendous need to rewrite the black narrative within various communities. We have extremely talented black pioneers hidden in plain sight. I believe our knowledge and expertise as black creators enables us to rewrite our narrative and explore the unknown together as future black leaders.

Our tragedies create unthinkable narratives. If we turn those narratives into words that impact, we can lead a change. I seek to switch those narratives with my words as I continue to strive forward. As a black man, I want to help my community convey the right words with a unique digital presence. I started to rebrand my company based on my intention to command attention. The emotions I felt stems from the adversity I’ve had to overcome in life. I’m passionate about my words and progress. This gave me a unique perspective to tell with my words. As a black man, former soccer athlete, writer, and scholar with disabilities, there are stereotypes everywhere. However, if I embrace those stereotypes as a building block then my enterprise will only continue to grow.

There are a lot of men in the world like me that are striving for greatness with “mini enterprises.” We are rising together to rewrite our narrative and build our “mini enterprise.” It all starts with the right brand skyscraper! As a graduate student, I’m learning about rhetoric and technical communication. My goal is to give the gems I learn back to my community.
